We’re happy to offer a variety of catering service levels to fit your needs. Here’s a quick guide to help you understand what each level includes:
We offer multiple catering options including pick-up orders from our facility, delivery to your event location, and full-service catering with our staff on-site throughout your event. All packages are customized to meet the needs of you and your guest. Our most popular packages are the traditional and smoked packages, incorporating 2 types of meat, 2 or 3 sides, bread, drink and a dessert option, which are portioned based on your final guest count. Additional meat options and side items can be added a la carte.
Delivery w/ Setup
Deposit: $300 due at booking
Balance Due: One week before your event
Service: Our team will arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour before your scheduled meal time. We’ll set up your food, leave everything covered and ready for self-service, and place any extras in the venue kitchen.
Extras: If needed, we can leave our food warmers (holding cabinets) during the event — just let us know ahead of time. Cabinets must be returned to Southern Pit by the following Wednesday.
Delivery w/ Refill & Cleanup
Deposit: $400 due at booking
Balance Due: One week before your event
Service: We’ll arrive 30 minutes to 1 hour before mealtime. Our staff will set up the buffet and stay to refill food and drinks, tidy up any spills, and clean the food area after the meal. We’ll also package up any leftovers.
Note: This does not include serving guests directly.
Full Service Catering
Deposit: $500 due at booking
Balance Due: One week before your event
Service: We’ll arrive 45 minutes to 1 hour before serving. Our staff will set up a buffet line (using chafers) and serve your guests for up to 1.5 hours. We’ll also package leftovers and clean our setup and kitchen area.
Setup Needs: Please provide three 6-ft tables (two for food, one for drinks). We can bring black or white disposable tablecloths if needed.
Please Note: We do not bus guest tables, serve cake or alcohol, or manage venue trash.
General Policies
Final Headcount, Menu, & Payment are due one week prior to your event.
Deposits are non-refundable. If an emergency causes you to cancel/reschedule your deposit can be applied elsewhere.
We only serve food and beverages provided by Southern Pit BBQ.
We are fully licensed and insured. Documentation available upon request.
